She tells the stories of women who have lost their lives in part because of the public’s acceptance or ignorance about abuse. Every public safety, health, and educational professional deserves this training. All of us need to understand the forms of abuse we and others may experience, inflict, or prevent. We all need to “be curious, ask questions, and trust our instincts.” It can save lives.
