Fantastic deep analysis from the victim’s perspective

I have become a huge fan of Laura Richards from
Real Crime Profile, and this solo venture of hers does not disappoint in the slightest. Her exact language and meticulous application of criminal analysis methods make listening to this podcast an extremely intense and harrowing experience but she does not shy from the reality of what male violence does to the women who are victimized and brutalized by it. While the realities she’s talking about are some of the worst crimes perpetrated against a human being, she does so with a deep understanding of the criminal behaviour and enormous empathy for the victims, plus how she places the crimes in the context of what was going on socially at the time makes for an extremely compelling and intensely involving podcast. Don’t miss out — if you’re a true crime enthusiast because like me you want to understand the extremities of human behaviour — Laura Richards will introduce you to thinking about these crimes and the continual violence of the patriarchy in an entirely different light.
