Clare Bell died a painful and slow death on August 2nd 2020. Mark Clowes put Clare in a bath so hot she suffered extensive scalding and full-thickness burns over 30% of her body. Clare asked him repeatedly for help and he refused.
When he finally got her out of the bath, he put her on a bed and left her there for roughly six hours. Despite her pleas that she was dying he refused to call an ambulance.
Clare died from her injuries yet he AVOIDED PRISON. How can that be right based on the facts of the case?
