So good!
Deep dives into criminal minds. All women should listen.

An inspiration and education
Laura is so incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. I’ve been listening for so long and I think her strength and power has rubbed off on me! What a life changing podcast! Amazing Laura thank you for sharing of yourself and work!

Best true crime podcast by a mile!
Why is this the best true crime podcast? Because it focuses on the victims of crime and doesn’t glamorise the crimes or treat the criminals as celebrities. This is how all true crime podcast should be presented. And let’s face it, most victims of crime, especially violent, sexually motivated crime are women and children. But whoever the victims are, THEY should be given the attention they deserve. Let the perpetrators fade into the obscurity they deserve.

Excellent!
Spectacular analysis on the Murdaugh case!

Always absolutely fascinating
Informative and valuable. One of the best crime podcasts of the genre.

Crime Analyst
Really enjoying the expertise and detail in breaking down crimes and criminal behaviours covered so far. Highly recommended this podcast.

A thoughtful compelling deep dive into facets of the Murdaugh Trial that have not been discussed.
Great voice and delivery AND compliments Mandy Matney and all the hard work she put into her Podcast!

Petito , Lacy and Connor and Murdaugh.
The information, detail and guidance provided by Laura on analyzing not only these horrific murders, but that we must speak out about this ongoing atrocities that occur daily to women and children. Laura is amazing, caring and an excellent human and teacher. Thank you for opening my eyes to all important issues that need to be addressed and changed in our society. I am a mom to a wonderful daughter and granddaughter. Who, because of Laura’s podcast, I will make sure these issues are addressed with my lovely girls. Thank you! Keep going!

Outstanding content, done with sensitivity.
Laura’s podcast, while unflinching in its gaze at horrific crimes, is so incredibly sensitive and victim centered. If I could pick one episode I think everyone on earth should hear, it would be episode 141. Her conversation around the trauma the families of murderers and serial murderers suffer and how we can refrain from adding to it is so important. Laura is outstanding at framing just the right questions that generate thoughtful conversations. I learn something every time. If you have sensitive ears you will love the quiet feel of this podcast as well as Laura’s voice. If I could give six stars I would.

Unequalled; the REAL deal
Laura has the experience and expertise that does not exist in crime podcasts. She will teach you so much and not just about the specific crime, but how to look at everything with a critical eye allowing you to see what is truly going on. It doesn’t hurt that she has a wonderfully melodious British accent. But, this is not entertainment. Laura never forgets, and does not allow you to forget, that these are real people with real loved ones who survive and deserve respect and care.

Laura never disappoints!
Fascinating episode #141 on Dennis Rader & Rex Heuermann. Kerri spoke so eloquently about her experience of living with a psychopath as a father and shared a little of what that was like. What is really interesting for me is this whole field of research that is underway into genetics and psychopathy that Laura talks about I have been so intrigued by this since I read ‘A Mind to Crime by Anne Moir & David Jessel as an undergraduate. Do listen - Laura is an absolute master at getting to the truth and making sure the listener understands. Excellent 5 stars.

Brilliant podcast!!!
Having listened to Laura over many years now I have learnt SO much about the dangerous behavioural patterns associated with (amongst things) coercive control, domestic abuse and stalking. Laura’s skills, expertise and years of experience in this field are second to none. Crime Analyst breaks down real life cases, and is full of information with which the listener can use to recognise patterns of abuse. Laura also has amazing and informative guests on, who have often themselves been a victim of abuse and bravely come on to share their experience in order to help us better understand and recognise the behavioural patterns of abusers. I highly recommend this podcast to everyone I know. Such important content.

Awesome Podcast!
When I need accurate and thorough information ..Laura Richards and Crime Analyst podcast is the first place I look. I love this podcast!! Laura has actually “battled in the trenches” so to speak. Loads of respect!!

A141
This is so weird. I talked to my mum about coersive control just a day ago. My dad was a abusive father to me and husband to her. I had to rewind this episode several times and save it because it just first made me cry so hard and then made so much sense.

Strong podcast
For me, this is by far the most informative podcast on violence against women / true crime. It provides so much insights into the mechanisms of control and listening to Laura being very detailed in her analysis is so exciting. One can really learn a lot listening to this podcast. Thank you, Laura, for being such a strong advocate for women! And I really love listening to your voice!

Awesome Podcast
Laura Richards is very informative and is a great teacher. I’m ashamed to admit I was a woman who never understood why women don’t just leave an abusive relationship. I’m ashamed I judged them. Laura is the first person who explained coercive control and why women can’t just leave their abuser. It’s so much more complicated than I ever knew. I also love her breakdowns of real life cases. She explains things so well. She teaches you while you listen. Because of Laura I now understand why I was so wrong.

Exceptional
Laura dissects every minute detail with a well informed analysis. It makes for excellent listening.

Laura articulates what we all feel.
This is a fantastically informative, in depth podcast. You know that feeling you get, when there isn’t any physical evidence that someone did it, but you just know that they did? That gut feeling? Personally, I can’t verbalise that instinct, like, for example, the clips of Alec Murdaugh in the car with the police after the deaths of Maggie & Paul, we can all watch that and just ‘know’, before having heard the evidence to back it up, but I wouldn’t be able to put that feeling into words. Laura explains what the behaviour means and perfectly analyses what our instincts are telling us, confirming that we all need to listen to our gut. Her knowledge on DV & CC is unparalleled, all of her opinions are backed up by facts. Laura is helping to make the world a safer place for women and children and for that I can only thank her, try to soak up some of her knowledge and help spread the word. A total SHERO.

This is a 10 star podcast The best by a country mile
There is True Crime podcasts and then there is Laura Richards. It’s educational, it’s victim centric and Laura is passionate about coercive control, following the evidence and following her instincts. If you are not really into True Crime you still need to listen to Crime Analyst… it’s so so so much more. If your only listen to one podcast, make it this one.

Detailed, compassionate & victim centred
Laura does an excellent job on this podcast, using her many years of police experience to analyse cases & extract meaning from each case. She always emphasises the victims over the perpetrators, something many crime podcasts fail to do.

Murdaugh murders
Love your analysis of this case - but something curious I noticed when listening to the full cross examination at the trial was him calling his son Paul Paul - it’s the first time I’ve heard that reference - did you notice this too?

Very Informative
Your show motivates me to take action on the injustices I see. It also helps me to remove blinders to some of injustices and biades I experience everyday as a woman.

The benchmark
Laura’s analysis, shared in these podcasts, are so compelling! They can be hard to listen to - the frustration and sadness you feel for the victims when there is nothing you can do post-event - but I’ve learnt a lot since finding her. Currently, the line-by-line analysis of the Murdagh crimes is fascinating- and now I have to wait a week for the next phase (mortgages and wills etc.)!

Laura is exceptional
I would give this show 10 stars if I could! Laura’s commitment to victims and her understanding and explanation of coercive control demonstrate her compassion and expertise. Plus, her voice is absolutely lovely to listen to. If you haven’t heard her on Real Crime Profile, I highly recommend that podcast as well. Bravo and thank you, Laura!

Essential listening for all women and men
Laura, Intelligent as always, these victims did not attempt/succeed in suicide by serial killer, they were all innocent of their attacks and murder by PS (shock that it needs to be spelled out!) Laura gives language, words to us to describe In context specifics and broader concepts. What an amazing mind Laura has with the gift of communication tied up in the 90% of perspiration that must have been necessary to develop her life’s work.

One of the best analysts ever..
I love everything about your podcast. You are truly remarkable at your trade.. I hang in your every word!!!

Don’t miss this excellent podcast!
I have always been interested in true crime because of the psychology of criminals. I have listened to many other crime podcasts through the years, but once you go Laura Richards- you will not go back! No other podcast will do! Laura is an expert who digs In to the details and is always teaching her listeners. I honestly feel like I am taking a course! I’m literally smarter after listening to Laura. Thank you Laura for your excellent work and sharing your knowledge with us.

Wisdom
I want to be wise enough to identify when someone is not truthful. Listening to Laura confirms we can all learn from her. Trust our instincts.

Only the best from Laura!
This podcast is amazing. She is highly intelligent and very well informed. Laura demands respect and deserves it. She unapologetically puts the survivors and victims first. This is not a happy podcast but it is the correct way to talk about the horror of what men do to women. I came from RCP because I admire Laura so much! Be curious, ask questions and always trust your instincts!

A must listen
Laura Richards has been one of the most influential women in the world to shine a light on domestic violence and stalking and that is how I came to know of her. This is a true crime podcast of a very unique nature, her compassion and advocacy for the victim is what sets this apart and above all the others. She is truly changing the world and this podcast is another amazing endeavor!
